Accommodations

Our dude ranch features 31 unique guest cabins, many dating back to the ranch’s beginnings in the 1920’s. All have been carefully restored and refurbished to provide luxurious comfort amidst rustic surroundings. Each cabin is unique, and we have a combination of one, two and three bedroom units available. Choose from cabins with stone fireplaces, picture windows with breathtaking views, or the sounds of a meandering stream outside the window.

Activities

Mountain Sky Guest Ranch offers something for everyone in the family! While our horse program is our primary activity, we have plenty of options available to add variety to your Montana ranch vacation. We offer trail rides, guided hikes, and trips to our private golf course every morning and afternoon, and guests can choose to begin and end their day with an hour long yoga session. Special offerings during the week include fly-fishing instruction, team penning, and adventure on the Big Creek Challenge Course. While the family is out on the trail, youngsters can join our kids program for morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Additional cost activities are also available, and include (but are not limited to) whitewater rafting, Yellowstone National Park van tours, Yellowstone National Park horseback rides (depending upon permits and trail conditions), massage, and clay shooting.

Dining

Meals are a highly anticipated event at the ranch. Breakfast and lunch buffets offer a variety of options that allow our guests to be as healthy or as indulgent as they like, and our dinners are a three- to five-course gourmet event to end the day. During the summer season, guests can ride, hike, or take a van to our remote-site “meal rides” served at historic locations on the property. We are happy to accommodate an special dietary needs or allergies and encourage our guests to notify us of these needs prior to arrival to ensure that we have safe nutritious meals for them.
